We headed to South Padre Island, Texas around 11:00pm Friday the 17th of April. A supposed 25 hour trip turned into 31 hours with a short stop Saturday evening to sleep. So the drive was long and tiring but Alyssa was such the trooper... and when we arrived, we had a blast experiencing many firsts...
- first time on the beach, playing in the sand and ocean
- flying a kite
- meeting many of Daddy's family
- seeing a windy, yet very beautiful beach wedding
What an amazing first family vacation!
